Earth Day at Lake Herman Open Space

15 volunteers celebrated Earth Day by watering over 100 acorns and tree saplings.

The Benicia Tree Foundation chose the Lake Herman Open Space for this Earth Day event because of our dry winter.  Many seeds for native trees were planted the past two winters and need some help to survive our extended dry season.  Many thanks go to Valero who organized most of the volunteers.

At Top: Volunteers thank Mother Earth for a beautiful day.
