Capitol Park Tree Tour

The park surrounding the State Capitol building in Sacramento is a great place to see examples of trees in a landscaped setting.  The park is part of the Capitol Museum managed by the California Department of Parks, who has published a booklet describing the trees planted in the park.  Sacramento has a different climate than Benicia, but many of the trees in this park can be grown successfully here.  Click here for more info on the trees that can be seen on this self-guided tour.
