Benicia Tree Foundation Benefits from Recent Donations

Businesses and individuals are helping Benicia Tree Foundation continue its mission.

Benicia Tree Foundation wants to acknowledge the businesses and individuals who made donations to the Foundation in the past month.  Solano County Supervisor Monica Brown donated $500.  Supervisor Brown’s district includes all of Benicia and she has welcomed volunteers at several of our Tree Care Days.  Marin Clean Energy (MCE) donated $500 to sponsor Tree Care Days in 2022.  MCE sponsored Tree Care Days in 2021 as well.  Finally,  Happy Life Pottery and Gallery on First Street held an Arbor Day Fundraiser on May 1 by scheduling a pottery class that focused on tree-related themes.  All the profits from this class ($436.36) were donated to the Benicia Tree Foundation.  Click here to see their video from the fundraiser.

Benicia Tree Foundation, an all-volunteer non-profit corporation, runs on a budget of about $5,000 annually (not including the cost of trees) so we are always thrilled to receive donations.

Supervisor Brown welcomes volunteers to a Tree Care Day at Joe Henderson Elementary School.
