A great tree for under powerlines. Crape myrtle, Lagerstroemia indica, is a small deciduous tree species that grows well in Benicia and can survive on rainfall alone once it becomes established. This tree can be grown with multiple trunks or as standard single-trunk tree, has colorful bark, showy flowers in the summer and good fall color.
