A powerful July 17 workshop in Benicia—Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream—explores new ways of seeing the big sustainability, spiritual and social justice challenges and opportunities of the early 2lst century.
Video, discussion groups and more
Via video, participants hear from far-sighted community leaders—Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Julia Butterfly Hill, Van Jones, Paul Hawken and many more—on everything from the planet’s dwindling biodiversity to growing socio-economic gaps. The event also includes lively breakout groups and practical tools.
It is an opportunity for everyone to understand what is happening and to consider how we can all play a part in addressing these problems and creating a world that works sustainability for us and for future generations.
Through this enquiry each individual will discover the unique stand that they wish to take for a more just, sustainable, and fulfilling world.
Empowering participants with a new vision
Participants will leave the Symposium empowered to take clear steps to embody their vision for a better world, and having established new connections to work with others on common issues.
