Benicia High School

Urban Forest at Benicia High School

Since 2011, Benicia Tree Foundation has planted more than 120 new trees on the campus of Benicia High School. Volunteers from throughout the community participated including BHS students, faculty and parents. The eighty trees that were planted in front of the campus on Military Drive in 2011 are past their establishment period and doing very well!

Between January and March, 2015 Benicia Tree Foundation partnered with the BHS ECH0 Academy students to plant more than 30 new trees around the upper parking lot and near the tennis courts. 20 new trees were planted in Fall of 2015 on the hill behind the upper parking lot as well.
