Francesca Terrace Park at 698 Hillcrest Avenue will be the site of Benicia's Fall Arbor Day celebration on October 24, beginning at 9 AM.  Twenty volunteers are needed.  Ten volunteers will be planting 10 trees and ten volunteers will be spreading mulch along the park's border with the Valero pipeline where 10 trees were planted in 2018.  The event will end no later than noon.

Additional saftey measure for this event include:

  • All volunteers must wear a face mask when maintaining a physical distance of six feet from persons who are not members of the same household or residence is not feasible;
  • Sufficient tools will be available to avoid the need to share tools;
  • Disposable gloves will be available to use underneath work gloves; and
