In-Kind Giving

In-Kind Giving
You can make a contribution to Benicia Tree Foundation by donating goods and services in kind.  Individuals and companies alike make in-kind donations. Perhaps your company can donate raffle prizes and silent auction items for our special events and exceptional volunteers and student participants.

Donations of any of the following would be greatly appreciated:

  • Food and bottled water for events
  • Tree pruners, saws, and loppers
  • Hand mattocks
  • gloves
  • shovels
  • portable water pump/generator for water tank
  • Other contractor/consulting services

This list is by no means exhaustive. If you have something else to donate, please suggest it.

CCL Organics has generously agreed to donate their compost, mulch, and soil products to BTF projects, and their "Midnight Mulch" is helping 160 trees grow at two school sites in the Benicia Unified School District. Please give them your business whenever you need high quality soil amendments. Dave Burnley is the proprietor at CCL. He holds a degree in Horticulture from UC Davis and an expert on soil related matters. CCL is open to the general public, although most of their business is with larger companies. The CCL operation is quite impressive, so don't miss the opportunity to visit and learn about how soil amendments are made.

Pedrotti Ace Hardware has donated axes, shovels and hand tools used to plant and maintain our project trees.
